What to expect in your appointment
A reiki healing session takes place fully clothed on a massage table or in a chair. Reiki energy always goes where it needs to go--it is an energy from source, and the practitioner, who has been attuned to the energy through a reiki master, is its vehicle. I will use light touch or hover over your energy centers (your choice) and use my intuition to guide the energy to where it needs to be. We can talk before a session so I can have a sense of what you think you need, you can add it to the form at time of booking, or I can just use my intuition (also your choice!), but the reiki energy itself will know what to do and where to go. Sometimes you may feel nothing during a session other than a sense of relaxation, or it may be common to feel some energy moving through or in a certain place in your body where you have stored memories or trauma, or my hands may feel hot on places where you feel tension. Reiki, especially the Usui/holy fire reiki I have been attuned to, is extremely gentle and it is you who have control over your experience. I am happy to add sound healing, movement, guided meditation or all three. Check out options in the booking session or ask me.

Why Osprey Energy?
Osprey Energy Healing, LLC was established in the winter of 2024. On the day following my 45th birthday, I signed up for a reiki session with my reiki 1 and 2 teacher. During my reiki healing session, I partook in a guided meditation that encouraged me to look into my family tree. I saw, in that tree, a bird I did not recognize, one that did not belong in the tree I visualized. The next day, there was a storm, and as I drove several miles inland and arrived at work, I noticed the exact bird from my meditation sitting upon the tallest tree as I wound down the narrow roadway. I slowed to take a picture, and as I did, it flew directly off the tree across my path from left to right, landing on the fence to my other side. It was looking right at me as if to say, "you are always on the fence, always half listening to your intuition. It's time to take a risk." I showed my coworker the picture, and they said, "that's an Osprey and it does not belong in that tree this far from the ocean." From that moment onward, and as I looked forward to my reiki master training, I knew I would expand my healing capabilities and open a practice called Osprey Energy Healing. Since that day I have seen the Osprey numerous times near my home, diving into the water as it grasps its food, reminding me to get what I need and do what I am made to do no matter how impossible it seems at times. I hope to also help you reach what it is you want or are made to do in this lifetime.
